RABBIT DEFORMITY IN LEGS

WE HAVE YOUNG RABBITS THEIR LEGS GO OUTWARD AND LOOK LIKE FROG LEGS.  THEY ARE HEALTHY AND HOP AROUND BUT WE CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THEIR LEGS ARE OUTWARD, EVEN SITTING. CAN YOU HELP?

Dear Deb,

Your babies may be afflicted with a congenital condition known as "splay leg."  In babies, this is treatable, but you must be persistent and patient.  Instructions for treatment can be found here:

Be sure they're kept on a surface with good traction, as slippery flooring can strongly promote splayleg.
