Rabbit being left alone with visits

22 10:12:47

Question
I will be taking a 3 week trip in a few weeks and I am debating weather to take my cat with me on the 12 hour plane trip. My question is: I will be leaving my Mini Lop home alone. He will have daily(or every second day) visits from a friend. The cat and rabbit don't interact very much but I'm afraid he will get lonely without the cat there. What are your thoughts and recommendations?

Answer
hello Trina!
I think you rabbit will be just fine!
The rabbit sitter should be enough of a brief visit to stimulate the rabbit and let it know it is not totally left alone.
i am more worried about food and water if you rfriend only comes every other day. you should get some alfalfa cubes and some blocks of wood  to put in the hutch with the rabbit so it will have extra food and a toy to play with while its alone.
Good Luck
Dan
