Question
Hi, we just bought a female baby rabbit who's about a month old. We noticed that about two times she urinated a red/brownish liquid. Do you know why or what it is?
Thank you for your help.

Answer
You sure that is urine and not diarrhea?  If she is that young, you really need to get her to a rabbit-knowledgeable veterinarian, rabbits that young should still be with their mother because their gut flora isn't fully established.  Many very young rabbits will die because of this.

Also, don't feed her vegetables until she is at least 3 months old, at this age all she should be eating is hay and pellets.
