Inside or Outside?

Question
Hello.
I just got a 1 year old female rabbit. This is my 1st rabbit. She is outside in a cage, with toys. (She is happy & has plenty of room.) She gets out for around an hour 1/2 - 2 hours 1/2 in the house, I heard that if they came from a un-heated barn into a heated house, they could get sick. My dad hates the smell of their poop & pee. She is potty trained. I thought that I could rabbit-proof my room & ask my dad if she can stay inside 24/7. I just need some info. to support me. I know that rabbits can get very scared and can get a dog/cat-attack if they scare her. I would keep her in my room, and cover all cords, even with my own money. I am responsible and if I have to I will empty her poop & pee tray daily. I figured she could be out in my room while I am up there and be put in her cage when I come downstairs or leave the house. If this helps I am 12 years old, and I can't get a job or move out of the house.

THANKS

Answer
I would check out the House Rabbit Society. They have tips for keeping rabbits inside and answers for just about any question you have. You can find information on proper care, feeding, and how to "bunny-proof" your house:

Hope that helps!
