Question
Is it safe to put a cat flea gollar on our pet bunnies

Answer
Dear Jason,

Not only is it not safe, it will also not be effective.  Flea collars are useless except for the area immediately under the band, and I'm not even sure why they sell those ridiculous things any more.

Instead, find a rabbit-savvy vet here:

and ask about getting a flea-infested bunny treated with Revolution, which will also prevent mites and ticks.  It's a topical medication applied to the back of the shoulders, and it will last about 3-4 weeks.  DO NOT use Frontline (fipronil), which is deadly to rabbits.

I hope this helps.
