QuestionHi Andrea, my 7 month old mini-lop agouti has very brown/black crooked
teeth. The bottom and top teeth meet together (the top teeth aren't
positioned over the bottom ones as they should be) and when you look at
them they are positioned diagonally: ie: top left is short, top right longer -
bottom left longer than the bottom right which is shorter. It would probably
be easier to show a picture here! What should I do, I know they are not
healthy and want to fix it. Thanks Jo
AnswerYou won't be able to fix it on your own. A good rabbit vet is who will need to fix this. Your bun's teeth are experiencing malocclusion. This can seriously affect your bunny's health. In time it may cause enough pain or seriously impede the ability to eat and cause serious health problems.
I've had a rabbit with this and the vet trimmed the teeth and he was fine afterward.
Hopefully your bun will be able to have such a quick fix. If not surgery is another option if a tooth is too messed up to be saved.
For reference this page gives some info on bunny teeth and malocclusion:

hope this helps
