Lion Head Rabbit - Cyst

Question
Our rabbit has a large mass which appears to be in the urinary tract. Her vaginal area is swollen to the size of a human thumb.  The skin is stretched, has lost hair and is milky white.  She seems to still have an appetite for fruits and veggies but doesn't want to graze in the yard much.  Her stools are very soft instead of firm.  She also seems to always have a "wet" mouth.

Answer
Hi,

I would suggest getting her in to your regular, good rabbit vet.  She's got some issues that require a proper diagnosis by a vet.  These appear to be things that 'home remedies' and a little owner doctoring can't fix.  You can't fix teeth on your own and do it properly, and you can't do surgery (possibly) or get proper prescription meds and pain meds for her without a vet.  ANd that is what she needs.

I'd get her in as soon as physically possible.  You don't want whatever's wrong with her down in her vent area to start making urinating difficult or impossible, because that will kill her quickly.

My gut is there's two issues here, one with the vent area, and a tooth problem that's made her change eating habits (and thus, why her stools have changed to soft).

These things will not get better on their own.  Get her in while she still has a lot of physical strength left.
