Question
We just got a bunny about 2 days ago who is 6 months old. She was handled by the owner who has lots of rabbit experiance. Just today when I brought her in to pet on her she pushed on blankets and my sons pants and then started nibbling them. Why would she be doing this?

Answer
Hi Dawn,
This is pretty normal behavior.  The pushing is a dominating gesture, not much to worry about unless the rabbit was behaving aggressively.  Nibbling is also quite normal once again as long as it's not aggressive. Unfortunately there really isn't anything we can do to stop this behavior.  She will settle into her new home and start to feel comfortable and safe, hopefully this will soon stop, Good luck,Elizabeth
