Question
I have recently started breeding rex rabbits due to the demand in my area. I wanted to know if my one is to old to start breeding. She has never had a litter and is at least 3 years old. Is she to old to start?
Also which is the rare colors? I have a lilac, a conure?, and a few broken colors.

Answer
hi stacey she is a little to old but it should be ok.
try and get a younger doe-remember all rabbits are classed as an adult at 5 months old and can start breeding at 4 months.
lilacs are rare but so are harlequin rex .
to get a good black or ermine you need pedigree stock to start with.
