rabbit with drooping ear

this morning i noticed that one of my rabbits ears have flopped over to one side. the ear looks clean, but as soon as youlift it up it flops back down. also her ears feel warm. thank you

Dear Diane,

If your bunny is a baby, this could signal the onset of her gene expression for the lop condition.  

But if she's an adult, this could be manifestation of an ear infection, mites, or even E. cuniculi.  The head may not be tilted, but the most common causes of head tilt are the same as those that cause one drooping ear.  Please see these two articles for more complete information:
