not moving and if she does she drags her feet

Question
My bunny Mily is a year & a half.  She's a normal bunny no especific or fancy breed but I love her with all my heart. She is real fluffy (chunky) but not obese. She stays inside my house, she never liked cages since when she was a month a cat wanted to open her cage up. And today she woke up okay and happy, ate normally but around 6pm in the afternoon she started not wanting to move. I thought it was the cold so I turned the heater on and tried to pet her but she draged herself alway from me and threw herself to the floor. I brought her to the living room to see if the warm will make her feel better but all she did was throw herself. I tried giving her her favorite snack but she didn't eat it. So I got a blanket to warm her up the old fashion way but she wouldn't get warm and as soon as I thought she was okay I layed her down and she began to get cold and began to drag her feet. We have caught her eating wood, clothe, even parts of the floor but nothing has ever happen to her, but we don't permit to do it. I don't know what to do and what could cause this sudden change of attitude please help me.  -Lyanne Barrera

Answer
Dear Lyanne,

Please read this immediately:

If she is not eating and has an abnormal body temperature, she may need to see your rabbit vet on an emergency basis.  If you don't yet have a vet, please use the list linked here to find one:

www.rabbit.org/vets

I hope she will be okay, but don't take chances.  Follow the directions in the first article, and make a judgment about whether to call the vet or not right away.

If she is obviously dragging her back legs, then please also read:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/paresis.html  including the linked article by Dr. Susan Brown.  If she might have suffered a traumatic injury, prompt treatment is essential for the best chance of full recovery.

I hope this helps.
