Question
Hl have a mini rex mix rabbit. she is 3 years old and perfectly healthy but she developed a smal bump on her nose which can only be seen through her fur because its raised a bit. she is eating, breathing fine etc. she lives indoors. i was wondering if there was any advice you could give me as to what it could be. it hasnt changed at all in the few days(around 4)since shes had it. i have a vet appointment for her in a few days. what do you think it is? is there anything l can do until the appointment? thanks

Answer
Dear Sam,

Without seeing the bump, I cannot identify it.  It might even take a biopsy for the vet to identify it.  It could be an abscess, a small tumor, or just a little wart (not uncommon on rabbits on the nose, actually).

If it's not bothering her, I would not worry.  And by now you have probably seen the vet.  Sorry for the delay.  I should have put myself on vacation when I got swamped at work, but I didn't!  :(

I hope all is well with your little gal.
