Question
Hello,i got a concern about my bunnies food.I live in Greece and here we dont have any timothy or alpfa alpha hay or pellets. So i buy VitaKraft Vitaverde hay which is meadow hay and has 32% fibre and 10% protein. Now the bad thing is the pellets, all the solid food i have found in the pet shops are mixes with corns and stuff which they are bad for my bunnies, and the only good pellets i have found cost 6 euro and they are 500 gramars which is very expensive.I have found one pet shop that sells pellets in bulk and cost 1 euro per kilo and i am feeding my bunnys with that for over 4 months.I rarely find any cecal in their cages so i though the food might be ok. However i dont know the nutritious value of the pellets i buy and i am getting a bit concerned of what i am feeding my bunnies

Answer
hi you should be ok feeding these pellets but if you ask the shop keeper he should know the nutritional value of them.
my rabbits are fed pellets only and I have had no problems with them -the only thing you must do is to see they have plenty of water to drink.
