Question
Hi there.
I currently own a female netherland dwarf, she is about seven months old.
Yesterday I bought a male netherland dwarf home who is about 8 weeks.
When I introduced them the female humped him, is this normal?

So it made me think she might be male, so I checked her genitals as described on a website and I noticed on each side of her genitals there are these two pockets with all this brown/black stuff inside and can only be noticed when opened up.
Is this normal? I'm a bit worried.

Also my female rabbit doesn't have diarrhea but every now and then she has these really large clumpy poos, is this normal?

What is the best way to bond rabbits? as the male is very intimidated by her,
both of them are not desexed as they were bought for breeding purposes.

I have also heard that males cannot mate before 3-4 months old, are they still able to mate before then? I dont want to breed them but im worried he will get her pregnant when he is only so young, at the moment they are in seperate cages.

Also since I bought the male home my female rabbit started building a nest, does she think she is pregnant or what is going on?

Thankyou for your help.

Answer
hi female humping is normal.
wash her in warm soapy water then clear warmwater and then dry with a warm hair dryer.
introduce them slowly asthey may fight put themtogether for a bit but watch them closely .
males can produce at 4 months old.
it sounds as though the doe wants to breed she may build a nest but it will be a phantom pregnancy.
