My Rabbit has a strange lump

22 9:51:51

Question
so a while ago my rabbit got a little lump, i was a little worried but my mom said to just keep an eye on it cause it could be a fat reject and its not bothering him. it has gotten a lot bigger about the size of my fist (bigger than his head) it is under his left front leg it doesn't seem to bother him though. its pretty hard but does not have little bumps on it. I just noticed today that there's little scab-type looking things on it they're brownish. he has lost his fur on it probably from dragging on the ground. I am really worried and can't figure out what it is. my mother says if we take him to the vet and its bad he's going to be put down. please tell me if you think its fine or bad.

Answer
Hi Alley,

Without seeing it I can't tell you if it is bad or not.  It sounds like the bunny is suffering right now and the vet is the best choice.  Regardless of the outcome you can't let the poor bunny suffer.  It could be an abscess or it could be a tumor.  Only a vet can tell you what it is.

Sorry I can't help you
