Question
Hiya
I have a wild cotton tail that is almost 4 weeks old that I have been hand rearing since he was a couple of days old, if that.
The trouble is  I think He is too tame to be released back into the wild. He is scared of some things like the hoover and loud noises. but he loves me to bits and doesn't seem to be too scared of other humans.
I don't think he'd be able to find shelter or dig himself a good warren if I released him back.
Do you have any suggestions?

thanks

Answer
Well I have to say congratulation on hand rearing him, hand raising baby rabbits is a hard process that generally doesn't end well. I can also understand the fear of letting him go and not knowing if he is going to be able to survive.  That is why I suggest finding a wildlife rehab center in your area.  Call the vets office close to you and ask for phone numbers, generally the vet will have better information than the phone book or the internet.  If you can't find a rehab center close to you find one that is in your general area (like your county, or state)  And ask them to give you advice.  They will know more about the steps you need to take in order to be able to release the rabbit, or if it can be released.

And Good Luck!!
