rabbit having babies

Question
hey bought a rabbit 4 days ago and she gave birth yesterday to one on the wire even though a box was in the cage. she didnt seem interested in iit. Put it in the box praying she would feed it. Never saw her do this but the next moring the baby is still alive and another baby is born on the wire. What the heck? Is she going to have 12 babies each to have a different birthday. is this normal. Do they only feed at night ( i live in louisiana and its pretty hot right now so i can understand not wanting to be in a box) Dont want the little ones to starve to death either. So any ideas?

hi cindy they have there babys all together usually -i dont like wire bottoms they should be on solid floors with plenty of sawdust to walk on.
dont expect to see her feeding them she will do it when all is quite.
i would get some hay and substitute this for the box she will then have some material to make a nest.
