A pregnant rabbit may become moody and growly and withdrawn. Near the end of the pregnancy, her belly will most likely be noticeably round, and you may even see movement of babies under her skin. Close to "kindling" (the word used to describe a rabbit giving birth), she will pull the fur from her flanks, belly and sides, and build a nest from available material, so be sure to provide fresh hay and straw if you think she might be close to giving birth.
