Bunnys frequent urinating

Question
Hi!
I really appritiate this forum, you've been a great help to me as a first time rabbit owner.
My holland lop buck was neutered at six months, and everything has been fine up until a month ago. He started urinating on his pine box (he sleeps in it) as well as in the corner of his cage, and in his litter box.
I let him roam my apartment when I am home, but in the past few weeks he's been urinating on the floor, carpet, my lap, the couch. Wherever he wants.
I have been using the old 'litter training' methods, but he continues to do this probably 3 days out of the week.
I'm really frustrated. Is there something I should be looking for? His urine seems the same color and consistancy.

I appritiate your insight,
Bridget

Answer
Sometimes being put under the anesetic makes them forget learned things like litter box training. He should come out of it, but to prevent him from urinating every where I have heard to spray the places where you don't want him going with perfume. Not sure that it can help you since he is doing it anywhere, but spots like your couch and the floor might be possible. Cutting down on his time that he is running around will help stop him from urinating all over the place. You may also want to consider just limiting him to a room with hard floors until you can get is problem controlled.
