Question
My rabbit was having discharge from her eyes and nose. We then got her medicine. Its been a few days now her tongue is warm. What does that mean?

Answer
I really do not understand what you are asking?  A rabbits normal body temperature is between 101 and 103.  Did you get the medication from a veterinarian?  Did they tell you what was causing the discharge?  Did they do a culture and sensitivity tests and did they put the bunny on the correct antibiotic?

The warm tongue really means nothing but the discharge from the eyes and nose mostly likely means snuffles.  Which could be from a variety of causes bacteria.  Without a culture and sensitivity test you will not know for sure which antibiotic will work.  There are also several antibiotics that are very dangerous for rabbits.  If you have already taken your rabbit to the vet you might want to ask them if they did a culture and sensitivity test.  If you are treating from home I strongly urge you to find a vet in your area to treat your rabbit.  You can find a list of rabbit savvy vets here:
