hi i have a female and male rabbit i was worried about them breeding there about 5 months old i have read a lot about the female rabbit could die and didn't want to lose my rabbit i was going to get my rabbit fixed he is booked in next week but when i had a good look at this parts it don't look like he has testicles at all i got him from a woman they were 12 weeks old he is quite a small rabbit so he should have matured by now am worried incase am wrong and they breed but the bunny rescue told me not to split them as they have been together since 8 weeks old (not the same litter) please help am not sure what to do thanks

Answer
hi hazel at 5 months old they are now classed as adults -all rabbits are classed as adults at 5 months old.
it sounds as though you have two females but the vet will verify this .
if they are females keep them together but in my opinion if one was a buck they would have mated by now as rabbits start to breed at 4 months
