Rabbits and worms??

Question
2 weeks ago i rushed my rabbit to the vet because on his mouth he had what looked to be a huge red blister. I also had found ants in his cage so i thought he had gotten bit. Well the vet wasn't a rabbit specialist and said he looked healthy and for me to dillute betadine and put on the lesion (blister) Well it hasnt gotten any better and i brought him inside and today when i cleaned the cage. I found worms in his feces. Could the blister have anything to do with the worms in his feces? Is he in pain? I Know that i should take him to a specialist but i have a hard time getting him into a carrying case> if he has worms is that going to kill him?

Answer
Hi Monica!

No having worms won't kill him but he needs to be treated properly.

Leave his carrier down for a while he can explore it by himself, maybe put his food in there for a few days so he gets used to it.

He really needs to go and see a specialist, bunnies are very difficult animals and need a veterinarian that knows what they are doing

Hope this helps, let me know how you get on
