New kindling help!

Question
Hello

My one year old satin has given birth a few days ago. I cut out a cardboard box, put in a towel, added some hay and made a DIY nest box. There were six in all. Now there are four. One looked malnourished today Andy prayed she'd make it for our vet visit tomorrow, but it wasn't meant to be. Another one died tonight, who looked not too thin, but surviving. I allow my satin a much time as she needs to be around her kindling, but I don't know if she cares. Her hutch is in my living room, not really a high traffic stressful area for the only person living in the house.

I waited a few days to make an appointment for a vet because I wanted to give my bunny the benefit of a doubt that she's taking care of her young. My stepdad came by today and was not happy with a "smelly" animal living in the house. My mom and uncle are beneficiaries to the house since my grandma passed, so it's their say. We moved the hutch outside but when I got home I noticed the temperature said 60* F outside with a fan blowing on them since it was 80* plus this afternoon when I left for work.

How else can I care for the kindling without another burial? I feel devastated because I am responsible for not noticing sooner and taking action. Am I a failure as a caretaker?  The newborns are now in my house out of fear for them freezing to death (again).  I have read that Kitten Milk Replacement is good with a syringe, is that what you would recommend? Thanks...

Andrew

Answer
Hi Andrew rabbits do not like heat, they can stand any amount of cold
Don,t expect to see the doe feeding as she will only do it when things are quite
Give it another 2 days and then see how they are getting on.
Do not keep looking at them or the doe may reject them due to your interference
Dave.
