Birth weights indication of future size?

Question
QUESTION: Cannot find any information really re: rabbit birth weights so I'm asking:  6 babies born June 14, these are the weights:
70g, 73g, 79g, 78g, 68g and the smallest at 52g.

Now, 4 days later they're weighing in at 126g, 124g, 135g, 125g, 121g and the smallest is now a whopping 86g LOL! All weights are in order of the weights mentioned above for each bunny.

The mother is continuously eating pellets as well but I'm worried she's not eating her hay as much.  Should I cut down on her pellets (they're alfalfa based).  She was 8 lbs. a week before giving birth (June 7th).

Thanks for any help
Paula

ANSWER: hi Paula don't worry they are doing fine and mum is doing a good job so do not change her feed

QUESTION: Hi Dave, your answer was re-assuring but I was still wondering if birth sizes in general could tell me about their future size/weight when full grown or is that impossible?

I don't show or breed, just would like to know what kind of room I'm going to need for them in the future.

Thanks

ANSWER: hi Paula all i can say is the more room the better if they are going in cages you need to get the largest you can find

QUESTION: Hi again Dave.  I guess it's futile forecasting the future size (weight) of a rabbit going by the birth weight?  I thought maybe you would have an idea since you've probably dealt with at least one breed from a newborn state & their weight?

Anyway, if not, I'll forget it.  I don't know why there's nothing on the internet that I can find regarding this.

I build my own large pens for our animals & they get exercise.  I was just curious that's all.

Thanks anyway.

Answer
hi Paula sorry i cannot be more precise but babies are all various weights but as they grow up they almost always get to the correct weight they should be as long as they are on a good diet.
what type of rabbits do you have and i will check our standards
