Question
my 8 month old lopear looks like she has bitten both ends of the bottom of her ears. they look clean thou. what should i do? and why is she doing this?

Answer
Hi Becky,

either she has an infestation of some kind or she is self-immolating (self-abuse) because of loneliness/boredom.  If you have other rabbits it may be that they are doing this.

I would get her in to your regular good rabbit vet to rule out infestation/infection and also to check on the ends of her ears.  If your schedule has changed, or you've moved her to a different room or something lately, she may be feeling neglected.  You'll need to spend more time with her and make sure she knows it's not punishment or something like that.
