Blindness in young pig

Question
I have a 10 month old female pbp and I know pigs in general do not have good eyesight but when we first got 'Fannie' she seemed to see fine. Recently we have noticed her squinting a lot and she jumps and runs if she is unsure who you are. Also her eyes started out dark in color with a few blue specks and now her eyes are almost comlpletely blue- not cloudy like cataracts but just a real pretty blue. Have you heard of this before? Any comments would be appreciated. Also I have a male who is 6 years old and I have been hesitant about introducing them because Fannie acts really  aggressive towards him. Right now I have them seperated by a gate and each time they meet at the gate it leads to them trying to bite eachother through it. I am wondering if Fannies sight is maybe making her more aggressive do to fear?

Answer
Several causes of blindness in pb pigs...number one cause is obesity.
Layers of fat in the skull around the deep set eyes cover them or cause the eyelashes to point straight down, causing painful damage to the cornea-
thus the cloudiness (Entropian) .
Cataracts, especially on a young pig, are possible but rare.
Entropian is my first guess.
It can happen without a pig being obese.
Eyesight cannot be replaced, see a vet ASAP.
Blindness causes fear and aggression, often,
Good luck,
