QuestionMy male pot belly pig Otis has a whitish discharge at the end part of his urination. It starts out light yellow, and it drips a cloudy milky colour of about a 1/4 ounce at the end. He is also been charging, at us and swiping/ biting this is very abnormal as he is usually very affectionate. He was nuetered at 10 weeks, and is now 1 1/2 years old. I have been giving him cranberry juice, my vet where I live has no experience with PBP so Im at a stale mate . Thanks for your help.

AnswerI am not a veterinarian and can not make a medical diagnosis over the internet.
Male pot-bellied pigs are prone to urinary tract crystals. These crystals can cause infection and blockage. Neutered male pot-bellied pigs should not have any sort of cloudy or milky discharge.
Your piggy needs to see a vet. I don't have a list of pot-bellied pig vets in Canada, but Hoofers Haven in Ontario, might be able to help you find one. Their website is http://pigaroo.tripod.com/hoofers.html or email cunningham@baynet.net
Also, Mazuri and Heartland Pet both carry pig food and supplements that are supposed to help reduce the risk of recurring urinary problems. It may be worth trying.
