are tumors painful for rats ?

Hi sandra,

I am just wondering, you told me that my rat most probably has a tumor, is it painful for him ?, in time will it grow ?, will it hurt even more later ?

There are answers to your questions on my website and this page I made all about tumors so you can read what to expect.  There are photos to compare your rats tumor to as well.  Where is it located at and how long has he had it?  It may be a mammary tumor and even though with males, return iIt is best to have it removed so your rat can continue with his life in comfort.
