rats in need of home

Question
QUESTION:  I live in Miami, fl and am moving to New York. Unfortunately I'm not able to
take my beloved pet rats with me.  Theyre very sweet and both males. I've
been trying to find someone trustworthy to take them for a month now
without any luck. What other options do I have??

p.s. - I just read the post by Bridgette and noticed she lives in Miami FL. Is
there any way I can get a hold of her?  If she's looking for gorgeous tame rats
I think my two boys would be perfect!

I am really glad you are taking the time to try to place them in a good home. Your a graet responsible rat owner!

Recently, someone bought a  feeder rat, knowing that it may have problems with aggression and could end up being a biter. Turns out the rat indeed had some issues with biting,but only in certain areas. Instead of taking my advice on how to help the rat with a little big of modification, including keeping the animal away from the parts of her body it seemed to like to bite the most, he is going to turn it loose in the wild even after I offered to help her find a home for it.
Of course she was angry I did not agree with her plan and became insulting but the truth hurts sometimes. WHen someone may commit an action that could potentially end up with fatal results of an animal, I will not hesitate to let somebody know that I think its the  wrong decision, like it or not.  I am just glad there are responsible rat owners like you in this world that take the time to make sure their pet has a good happy home!
