rectal bleeding

yesterday my rat pooped and now he is bleeding and it wont stop i don't no what to do please help

Oh my.....he needs to see a vet.  I know about this sadly on a personal level as I lost my best boy, Ben, in March to colon cancer.  It started first as some bloody stool and a month later I found blood all over the cage, coming from his anus.. He was acting ok at first and I knew it was bad and knew what it probably was.  I had an xray done and found a huge mass in his colon so we had to put him down to ease his suffering.   I had hoped it was rectal polyps but it wasnt....  so you MUST see a vet for this right away because this can be terribly painful for him. Please. If you need names of vets that know about rats please let me help you find one.  This must not be ignored.
