Question
I HAVE A FOUR WEEK OLD RINGNECK PARAKEET. LAST NIGHT THE LITTLE BIRD BEGAN TO SNEEZE ABOUT 6 TIMES AND THEN STOPPED. THE BIRD HAS NOT SNEEZED DURING THE DAY.should I BE CONCERN IF IT SNEEZES AGAIN TONIGHT. THANKS SAIESHAN

Answer
Sometimes a sneeze is just a feather or dust in the nose and nothing more.
When a bird sneezes, watch carefully for any discharge (especially colored discharge), changes in droppings, behavior, fluffing, staying at the bottom of the cage (without being there to play with something), heat seeking (trying to sit in beams of sunlight) and other changes you just sense are 'off'.
Otherwise, you might be able to make a difference by extra vacuuming, dusting and cage cleaning.  It could also be environmental, even an allergic reaction to something.
Good job though - in being this attentive!
