My mouse has an eye infection :(

hes been itching his eye. now its swollen and bleeding right below the opening. he has fresh water, food, and better. is there anything i can do to make it better? i dont want him to lose his eye sight. i wiped the pus off with a warm clothe. help please i dont know what to do. hes about 9months old. and my lil buddy. (hes in a cage by himself)

Hi there, if his eye is that bad, he needs to see a vet right away in order to save his sight. It also sounds like its painful for him if hes scratching it and making it bleed, so its not fair to leave him in pain. He will probably need antibiotics from your vet. Hope it heals up ok, good luck
