guineapig skin condition

Hi,
my guineapig is scratching his fur all of the time and doesn't seem very happy. His skin is flaky and horrible i hate looking at it! Also his fur falls out in clumps with all horrible skin on the end. Do you know what is wrong with him and how i8 can treat it? Please answer back soon

How often do you bath him?  If you bath him a lot then you could have dried his skin out.  He could also possibly have lice or mites.  In which case you would have to purchase a dip for him.  If these do not seem to be the case then he possibly could have skin allergies.  You can try Cortizone spray for this but he would really need to see a vet.
