Can i leave my pregnent guineapig with a girl friend at birth?

The short answer to that question is yes, you can.  However, I usually don't, as sometimes other mature animals in the cage can accidentally trample a new pup.  This is simply a matter of personal preference and space.  If you only have one cage, then by all means, go ahead and leave them together.  Just watch them carefully to protect the pups.
