Cuts on my Guinie Pigs face

Above my guinie pigs nose a sore seems to have developed. The hair has fallen out or thinned and I am very concerned about it. Wee just got her two weeks ago and she is barely 2 months old. Im just wondering what could have caused this and if there is anything I can do about it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, is the hair just falling out and the skin a bit flakey and scabby looking or is it an actual injury? If it's a minor injury, flush it and keep it clean and watch for signs of infection. If it gets infected she should see a vet for antibiotics. Of course if it's a serious injury she needs to see a vet. I'm assuming it's not an injury but I wanted to give you the information anyway. I believe she likely has a fungal infection. I'm going to send you to a link that gives a list of treatments for fungal infections. I could just list them but this site also has some very good pictures you can use for comparasion. Good luck.
