Tomato

Question
I asked you a question yesterday about my guinea pig twitching and rolling her eyes in her sleep.

I was wondering about something else, tomatoes. I read in my latest guinea pig book that you shouldn't feed guinea pigs tomatoes because they can clog up their heart.

Is this true, because i feed them lots of tomato! I don't want my 4 precious guinea pigs to die, especially as one hasn't been well :(

WOOPS!
If that is true i feed my guinea pig some too!  well they eat it out of my veggie patch!
Okay I'l just do some research and find out for you....
Okay not too much or it causes upset tummies!
One or two a week  (baby/cherry) tomatoes are fine!
DON'T know what book you were reading!
always double check books with me or internet!  You don't want to follow something that isnt true!
