A companion for my pig.

Question
If I get a female for my 2 year old male, will it be a good thing for my pig or does he need another pig. I give him alot of attention.

Hi Micheal.  If your guinea pig has been content up to this point I don't really see a need for a female.  You'll get babies if you add a female and you will have to find homes for them.  A lot of guinea pigs do just fine living alone, having a cagemate is not a necessity.
