noises?

what does it mean when my little piggy purrs and squeaks? he squeaks when i pet him sometimes but my sister's guinea pig purrs like ALL THE TIME. what am i doing wrong? thanks!

I am sure you are doing nothing wrong. Some pigs are more noisy than others, thats all.

A pig purrs for 2 reasons. Firstly, just like a cat purrs when she is happy being petted, secondly when a strange noise is heared but this is a louder noise and more of a vibration.
