Questioni had my male gps neutered almost a month ago,but when i put one of them jim in with his female rosie he trys to mate her is this normal ,and will it stop,rosie had his babies just over a week ago and it is the first time theyve seen each other for a few weeks,he has met his babies and they all seem to get along fine,also could he still be fertile.

Well, there's always a possibility that the vet did not neuter or completely neuter your guinea pig. However, I would say in this case that its just a case of his hormones winding down. It will probably take a few weeks for them to go away completely. Sows go into heat almost immediately after giving birth, so its probably just a normal, hormonally-driven reaction. Unless you have reason to doubt the competence of your vet, I wouldn't worry too much about leaving them together. Do be aware, however, that male pups mature sexually very early, so you will want to wean them to a different cage within a few weeks.
