My guinea may be sick

My guinea pig has been laying around and not eating.  We gave him some chayote, but we don't know if this made him sick.  Any info. would be great,thanks.

Hi Simone-
Can you tell me chayote is?  I have never heard of it.  I would get your pigs favorite veggie, sprinkle some water on it then sugar, and see if he will eat that.  He needs to drink most importantly and secondly get some calories in him for energy.  You can also try some karo syrup on your finger (although he might bite you if he really likes it) to entice him.  Let me know what chayote is and I'll get back to you!
