Question
I have two guinea pigs right now and i think one is pregnant. she was with her  brother until 2 days ago when we bought her. she is 4 months old and I'm worried she might die from pregnancy at an early age!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your 4 month old is pregnant she'll be fine as even though to you and me it seems young she is actually the right age to have pups (babies) because by the time she has them she'll be 5 to 6 months old. If she was 8 months and older then you would really need to worry as her pelvic bones would be fused together. So though it sounds young to you and me, she'll be fine and is the perfect age for having pups.

Here are some signs of pregnancy in Guinea Pig to help you better determine if she is pregnant.

Drinking lots more water,
Eating more,
Becoming noticeably heavier,
Teats become more prominent and red looking,
Not allow you to pick her up or touch her stomach.

By the time she is almost ready to have the babies you'll notice these signs.

The pear shape she'll start looking,
Movement of the babies when set on lap after the 42 day mark.
