guinea pig eating my hair

Question
I was wondering why my guinea pig is always trying to eat my hair?  Also was wondering why she always licks people?  My other pigs do not do either of these things.

Hi Mary.  Just like people differ in their habits, guinea pigs do too.  Maybe your guinea pig associates your hair with timothy hay?  She may be licking the salt off people from when they have sweated at some point in the day.  To be quite honest, no one knows for sure why guinea pigs do most of things they do, but what I have suggested is my best guess.
