she passed away

rogue passed away last night about an hour after i wrote you my last message. i dont understand why. but now the other pig is sneezing. so i have the apptmoint for rogue still nad ill be taking storm instead to find out what is wrong with her, and ill assume that that was what was wrong with rogue too. this is horrible. im not sure if it was the bedding or what but she was so young and i feel horrible. ill let you know if i see any results in my self. although i dont live in hte same cage with htem so i assumne itll be a no.

Awwww.. poor thing. I was praying he would make it through the night. I was hoping rogue would make it to the vet. Do not feel bad about this. He just wasn't strong enough to make it. There was nothing you could do. You made the vet appointment and that's all you could do was hope and pray he would make it. I know you feel bad but please don't feel bad. It's not your fault. What type of bedding do you have? Carefresh and Soft Sorbent bedding are the best bedding for guinea pigs. Well the disease the guinea pig had the other one probably has now. The thing is I didn't want you to seperate the two because the other one was probably already exposed so it was best to just leave both in the same cage. Some babies just don't survive. You didn't know and you tried everything. Don't feel bad about anything. You sought help and you called the vet. Most people wouldn't even do that. They would just let them die because they don't want to pay for a vet visit. You obviously do care about your pets and are a good parent. Did you ask your vet if you could get it? I don't think you could get it from a guinea pig, but i'd ask. I'm so sorry I couldn't be of more assistance to you, but i'm not a vet so the only thing I can do is reccommend what's best and try to guess the outcome :-). Please don't feel bad though cheer up knowing that you are going to save the life of your only baby :-). She will probably be lonely since her friend is gone so you will need to spend extra time with her once she's better. Please keep me posted on the updates. I'm keeping you in my prayers :-)
