life expectancy

How long do guinea's live?  What are some  reasons they would just die?  We had our's two months and last night it died.  I just need basic information in case we get another one.  Thanks

The most common reason is URI's left untreated or if you house them outdoors or poor diet/care. Please read over www.guinealynx.info thoroughly. If you got yours from a pet store, they likely sold you a sick pig and poor care info. Please adopt from a reputable rescue or an animal shelter next time.
