Can i give my guinea pig an orange slice and vitamin drops?

Hi Kimberly,

Don't give him/her the orange skin, but yes, the fruit is okay for guinea pigs to eat. They tend not to like squishy foods though as it messes up their appearance ... and fruit should be fed sparingly as the acid in them can cause mouth ulcers.

The only vitamins you should give your piggy are specially-made guinea pig vitamin supplments to be added to the drinking water. However, if you feed your piggy plenty of fresh veg, he or she shouldn't need extra.
