is she pregnate?

My guinea pig Lily has many signs of pregnency. But i dont know if she is or not.Is there like an online test or something? Also Lily, hasn't been around any boy guinea pigs. But i know 3 people who got there guinea pigs at a store already pregnate! So is Lily going to be a mommy?

There is no pregnancy test for guinea pigs, the only sure way to detect it is to have a vet do an X-ray of her belly. If you purchased her from a pet store within the last 68 days and they did not separate their males and females then I can almost guarantee you that she is pregnant. Her belly will start to get really round and solid if she is, she will also start eating more and drinking more. Four weeks before the babies are due they will start to move in her belly, which you will be able to see and feel. Gestation period is between 63-70 days, all of my females though deliver on exactly the 68th day, a few on the 69th. Make sure to increase her vitamin intake, by giving her guinea pig vitamins in her water and more fruits and veggies. Also once or if she gets big avoid excessive handling, always pick her up with one hand cupped under her butt and bottom of her belly and the other hand right  behind her front legs.
