Piggy Squealing

My Guinea Pig is getting to be a bit of an annoyance....anytime I walk by her cage or open the fridge she squeaks like she wants food.  I feed her fresh veggies/fruit twice a day and she has hay and pellets available at all times....I can't give her anymore food as she will become overweight but it is getting annoying that I can't move without her squeaking excissivley.  How can I get her to stop squeaking all the time? I understand if I rustle a bag or something like that but walking? She will do this while food is still in her cage as well or on the weekends (she is fed later) she will start and wake the whole house up...I am looking for suggestions on how to fix this or what it may mean.

Some pigs do squeak more than others and there is no way to my knowledge that this behaviour can be modified. However, you should find that as she gets older she becomes less noisy.

I wish my pigs would squeak more as i think its the most adorable noise ever.
