pregnancies

Question
We have a piggie who is almost 1.  We think she is pregnant now but not sure if she is just fat.  If she isn't pregnant and her bones have fused is it still possible for her to get pregnant?  We do have a young male that was in the cage with her for about 2 weeks.  They are sneaky because they like to go under their blanket.  I'm really hoping she isn't pregnant but wondering if she can still get pregnant.  If so I will have her spayed so we don't have to worry about her dying on me.  Thank you for your help.

Yes, she can still get pregnant, but no, she can't safely give birth. If you have a sneaky male, you should have her spayed or him nuetered. I would get her checked by a vet soon to confirm whether or not she is currently pregnant and try to arrange for a C-Section if she is. Hopefully she isn't though, but yes, do get one of them fixed.
