water consumption

My two year old guinea pigs seem to be drinking a good deal of water lately (over a pint in a 24 hour period) is this normal, or could it be a symptom something else is wrong?

It is a possibility that your piggies' drinking indicates an underlying problem. I would consult a vet qualified to deal with piggies to do an examination to be on the safe side. Any problem might be relatively minor but its best to get it checked.
