Guinea pig information

Hello, Im getting my little brother 2 guinea pigs for christmas. I work at a petstore so ive got the basics done, but i have some questions. The one guinea i am adopting hasbeen tot he vet and was diagnosed with a nerological disorder. Its brain doesnt tell its leg what to do. She can wobble around her cage, but if scared she'll fall over and cant get herself back up. She walks as if she has an inner ear infection (which she doesnt). I was wondering if you have ever heard of this before, and if there is any chance of it getting better?

No, her condition likely wasn't caught in time and treated. You can put her on Antibiotics and see if that helps, but it may be too late. Pet stores often buy from pet mills and they come sick like that, and left untreated.
